How to Assemble and Use LEGO Display Cases: A Step-by-Step Guide

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to assemble your LEGO Valkyrie Display Case thats perfect for LEGO enthusiasts looking to elevate their display game.

What’s Included in Your LEGO Display Case Kit?

Each display case is shipped flat-packed and includes all necessary components and tools. For the LEGO Valkyrie Display Case, you’ll receive:

• 8 Metallic Corner Cubes
• 24 Screws
• 1 Allen Key
• 2 Acrylic Side Panels
• 1 Top Acrylic Panel
• 2 Front/Rear Panels (colour may vary depending on your choice)
• 2 Base Panels

(Important) Acrylic Panel Orientation

This display case uses non-symmetrical panels, which means some pieces have a specific top and bottom. Take note of this before starting.

Key Tip:

• The base panel has three slot openings on each side. Ensure that the side panels align with these slots correctly.
• Lay out all pieces on a flat surface before assembly to confirm their orientation.

🛠️ Tip: You can loosely assemble the display case without screws to double-check the alignment before tightening anything.

How to Prepare Your LEGO Display Case for Assembly

Before you begin assembling, remove the protective film from each acrylic panel. This film helps prevent scratches during shipping and may be:

• Clear
• Translucent
• Or come in various colors

Leaving the film on during assembly can cause it to get trapped under screws or corners, affecting the final look of your display.

LEGO Display Case Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Attach Corner Cubes to the Base Panel

Start by securing the metallic corner cubes onto the base. You’ll notice small indentations on one side of the base — this is where the screws go.

🔧 Important:

• Use the included Allen key
• Do not overtighten screws — this may crack the acrylic

Step 2: Insert and Secure the Side Panels

Next, insert the side panels into the base, aligning them with the corner cubes.

⚠️ Warning:

• Hold the panels firmly while screwing to avoid flexing or cracking
• It's may easier to have someone assist in holding the panel while you secure it

Step 3: Insert the Second Base Panel

Once the side panels are attached, gently lower the second base panel into place. We recommend aligning two corners first — the rest will follow smoothly.

Placing Your LEGO Set

Now that your case structure is ready, you can place your LEGO set inside. Make sure it’s centered and oriented how you want it to appear.

Step 4: Attach the Top Acrylic Panel

Finally, place the top panel onto the case and secure it using the remaining screws. This will lock the structure in place and fully enclose your LEGO build.
